I'm looking at a Martin that has a bearclaw top. I like the way it looks and it sounds good to my ears. Any thoughts about bearclaw? Is it desirable/undisirable? Does it affect the tone of the guitar...

Bear claw looks great! I don't know if it has any bearing on tone though. I have two guitars with bearclaw tops. They both sound great-- but I think that has more to do with their being Martins!Bob
